WILD FENNEL PESTO :

CHARACTERISTICS:
Agrestis Wild fennel pesto is made with the Monti Iblei wild fennel. The harvest of the fennel occurs in the month of April when the savour and perfume are more intense to produce, together with tomatoes, raisins and pine nuts an excellent seasoning with a unique taste.

SUGGESTIONS:
Agrestis Wild fennel pesto is excellent to season pasta dishes, adding in few minutes an intense perfume and taste. You only need to heath the pesto with a glass of cooking water for 4 minutes, drain the pasta and pass it in a pan with the sauce for another minute. Just before serving, add toasted breadcrumbs on top. Store it in dry place and away from light. Once opened add olive oil and keep it in fridge.

Wild fennel, Agrestis extra virgin olive oil, garlic, raisin, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes, lemon juice.
